HEARTLINES is an initiative which uses television, radio and print media to tell stories to get the nation talking, thinking and acting on values South Africa is faced with a myriad of health and development issues that threaten our future. Some of the biggest of these issues are, HIVjAIDS, abuse, crime and corruption. Despite the fact that the vast majority of South Africans profess good valu6, it has become perceived tobe "normal" to engage in crime or corruption, to be involved in unsafe sexual relationships, to abuse one's own family members.
